Come and celebrate World Rivers Day with us; the perfect opportunity to meet the River Medway and learn more about how we can protect her. Expect immersive workshops, talks on how to live a more “river-friendly” life, art activities, music, foraged food and drinks, and a candle-lit ceremony. Everything will run off donations, which will allow us to continue our vital work.
Saturday day - 25th September - Spring Rise Community Gardens, Forest Row, RH18 5JX.
Sunday evening - 26th September (World Rivers Day) - by the river (see photos at the bottom for directions). You can park at Tablehurst Farm carpark (London Rd, Forest Row RH18 5DP) and then go across the fields (as seen in photos below) to get to the riverside. Estimated time: 10 minutes walking.
You can also access the site from Emerson and the Forest Way, but there is no allocated parking (see directions below).
